🌊 Episode 7 – The Fisherman’s Tale

📖 English Confession Script (Blog Style)

The storm had passed a week ago, but whispers still moved through Cullen Bay.

The fishermen at the harbor spoke of strange lights near the rocks, of voices riding the wind.

One morning, I walked down to the docks to bring medical supplies for the men who’d been injured repairing their nets.

That’s when I met Angus, an old fisherman with salt-white hair and eyes like faded glass.

He knew Elliot — everyone did. The keeper who never left the tower.

“You’ve seen her, haven’t you?” he asked, tying his ropes slowly.

“Maeve?” I whispered.

He nodded. “Aye. The sea took her, but she didn’t go quiet. Every year, when the tide’s high and the light flickers, she comes to see if he’s still waiting.”

He looked toward the lighthouse. “And he always is.”

I asked him if Maeve had drowned. Angus didn’t answer right away. He stared at the horizon where the sky met the cold grey water.

“They never found her body,” he said at last. “Only her lantern — still burning.”

The waves slapped against the pier, steady and endless.

For the first time, I wondered if some loves are too strong to rest… even in death.
