๐ŸŒ™๐Ÿ•ฏ️ The House On Lavender Hill Episode 5 - The Last Light Of Lavender Hill

๐ŸŒ™๐Ÿ•ฏ️ Episode 5 — THE LAST LIGHT OF LAVENDER HILL

> “Some houses aren’t haunted by ghosts…

they’re haunted by the hearts that never left.”

Ako si Joyce, 29.

And this… this is the moment where Lavender Hill finally stopped hiding its secrets.

---

THE MORNING AFTER

The air was soft, golden, and strangely heavy.

Parang buong manor held its breath.

I walked through the hallway, pausing in front of Clara’s portraits.

Ngayon, hindi lang sila nagmamasid…

parang nagkukwento.

Their painted eyes followed me…

but not in judgment.

More like… understanding.

At the typewriter, may bagong papel.

Fresh, warm,

parang recently typed.

“Some truths are safer in silence… but not this one.”

Kinilabutan ako.

Pero hindi takot.

Excitement? Fear? Lust?

Parang halo ng lahat.

---

THOMAS’ PRESENCE

Thomas appeared sa pinto, silhouette against the morning light.

His eyes… soft, haunted, longing.

> “Joyce… are you ready?”

his voice barely above a whisper.

I didn’t answer.

Hindi ko kailangan.

Our eyes spoke —

every hesitation, every pulse, every unsaid desire.

He stepped closer.

The space between us shrank.

The letters, the portraits, the shadows…

lahat nagiging backdrop sa init ng moment na ito.

---

THE CONFESSION

> “Thomas… I feel like this house… like it’s alive. And maybe it’s been waiting for me to see… everything.”

He smiled softly.

> “I’ve felt that too… but I didn’t know if I could let anyone in.”

And then, slowly, hindi lang words…

but presence, touch, connection…

like the house itself was guiding us.

Ang lamig ng hangin, ang init ng sunlight…

lahat connected sa amin.

---

THE REVELATION

As we walked sa library, sa studio,

I finally understood:

Clara’s spirit…

was never here to haunt us.

It was a reflection… of our own desires, regrets, and loneliness.

Mrs. Linton, standing quietly sa doorway,

simply nodded:

> “Some houses… teach you how to feel. And some… how to let go.”

Thomas looked at me.

> “Joyce… maybe it’s time we stop fearing what we want.”

At that moment…

Hindi na mahalaga kung haunted ang bahay.

Hindi na mahalaga kung nag-iisa ang puso namin sa simula.

All that mattered…

is what we chose to feel now.

---

THE EMOTIONAL COLLISION

We sat sa veranda, lavender fields stretching infinitely.

Hands touching, lips almost brushing…

the typewriter behind us, the portraits watching silently…

and I whispered:

> “I think… I’m finally allowed to be happy.”

Thomas held my hand tighter.

> “You are. And so am I.”

The house sighed, or maybe…

that was just us letting go.

All the regrets, all the loneliness, all the past…

mingled sa golden morning light.

Hindi na kami biktima ng nakaraan.

Kami ang pumili ng ngayon.

---

THE CLOSURE

Before I left Lavender Hill that afternoon,

I wrote one last letter —

not for Thomas, not for anyone…

para sa akin:

“I thought this house was haunted…

but it only waited for me to live again.”

I placed it sa typewriter.

The keys cold, the page blank behind it.

Parang promise… na kahit anong mangyari,

ang Lavender Hill would always be a witness.

And as I walked to the gate,

I turned once.

Thomas in the veranda, watching me…

a small, knowing smile.

Clara’s portraits glowing softly.

And the sun…

finally, fully, shining over the lavender.

“I thought the house was haunted…

until I realized it wasn’t the ghosts I feared…

it was me. And the love I finally allowed myself to feel.”

THE END...
