Janice walked down the aisle wearing a simple white gown — no diamonds, no extravagance, just grace that silenced the world around her.
When she smiled at me, I forgot how to breathe.
Jude stood as my best man, Mariel as Janice’s maid of honor. Everyone we loved was there — faces glowing with hope. My mother cried quietly, my father smiled like he had handed me the key to my own destiny.
“For better or for worse,” I said, holding her hand, “in calm or storm — I’ll choose you.”
When we sealed our vows, I truly believed nothing could break us.
But time, distance, and silence — they have their own way of testing promises.
